Information Technology Network Specialist
We are looking for an experienced IT Network & Backup Engineer to join our technical team in Dubai. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in networking, firewalls, servers, backup solutions, and IT infrastructure, along with excellent troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls. - Configure and manage Cisco, FortiGate, and other network/security solutions. - Install and maintain Windows Servers and related IT infrastructure. - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Acronis, Veeam, and other backup solutions. - Perform backup monitoring, restore testing, and disaster recovery activities. - Troubleshoot network, server, hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers. - Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks. - Support Microsoft 365, Azure, email, and cloud infrastructure. - Prepare technical reports, documentation, and network diagrams. - Participate in IT infrastructure projects, installations, migrations, and commissioning. - Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for escalations. - Ensure customer issues are resolved within agreed SLA timelines.Requirements - Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. - 2–5 years of relevant UAE or GCC experience in IT networking and infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi. - Hands-on experience with Cisco switches/routers and FortiGate firewalls. - Experience with Acronis and/or Veeam backup solutions. - Good knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and customer-handling skills. - Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory. - Ability to travel to customer sites across the UAE. - CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft, Veeam, or Acronis certifications will be an advantage.Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, technically strong, and customer-focused, with the ability to independently handle network, server, and backup-related issues at customer locations. - Candidates with a valid UAE driving licence and immediately available to join will be preferred.
